The little sister of the 20 Francs Vreneli is the 10 Francs Vreneli, which was minted a total of 2.65 million times. With the exception of the 1922 vintage (over 1 million), the mintage figures of the 10 Francs Vreneli are rather low, which is why individual vintages are also traded with higher premiums. Our experts will be happy to advise you.
The obverse is almost identical to that of the 20 Francs Vreneli. In contrast to the 20 Francs piece, however, the name of the artist "F. LANDRY" is affixed to the lower left edge.
On the reverse: "10 Fr." and the year in two lines horizontally in the centre. Above it the Swiss cross with a radiating wreath, below it two Alpine roses and gentian branches entwining. The mint mark "B" stays at the lower edge.
